Zane joined the Long Capture Team in November 2024. He holds a BS in Management from the United States Air Force Academy, an MBA from Liberty University, and a PMP certification.
Prior to joining Long Capture, Zane served over 5 years in both the United States Air Force and Space Force as a Program Manager (PM) in various Acquisition roles, including: Next Gen Missile Warning Payloads PM; PM, Special Warfare Branch; Executive Officer, Special Operations Forces & Personnel Recovery Division; and HC/MC-130J Modifications PM. Following his time in the military, he participated in a SkillBridge internship as Leadership Resident at Foundry Church KC. He brings with him extensive experience leading large multi-functional teams, guiding multi-million and billion dollar programs, steering acquisition strategy, and transitioning technology from prototype to delivered capability.
At Long Capture, Zane applies his experience as a capture strategist, working hands-on with clients to get to know their unique company, technology, and goals. He works to develop unique strategies for each company to help them pursue the best avenues for federal funding.
