Tyler joined the Long Capture team in November 2025 and brings with him over 15 years of professional experience, including more than a decade in management consulting. His background spans capture, business development, process improvement, and value realization, with specialized expertise in pursuits, leadership, business communication, and strategic planning. Tyler has worked across multiple industries, including several DoD clients, and has led projects involving business plan development, requirements definition, cost/benefit analysis, and best practice investigations.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Economics from San Diego State University. Prior to joining Long Capture, Tyler spent years in DoD program offices and supported proposal and capture management for small businesses navigating federal opportunities. His qualifications also include international business experience from time abroad in 2009 and business valuation experience through his involvement with the Action Sports Boosters organization.
At Long Capture, Tyler applies his deep knowledge of DoD work and insights into Navy programs to help clients develop tailored strategies for pursuing federal funding. His skills in communication, collaboration, and tenacity make him a key contributor to Long Capture’s success.
