Walter joined the Long Capture team in April 2026. He holds a B.S. (with Merit) from the U.S. Naval Academy and an M.A. from Georgetown University.
Prior to joining Long Capture, Walter served as a Navy and Navy Reserve Officer before transitioning into more than 20 years of commercial experience in Federal Government contracting. Throughout his career, he has held positions of increasing responsibility across both small and large firms, including KPMG and Deloitte, where he developed deep expertise in management consulting and professional services. Walter has a proven track record in full lifecycle business development and capture management, consistently driving new business wins across both Defense and Federal Civilian agencies. He has also served as a key contributor to multi-million dollar P&Ls, supporting sustained revenue growth, profitability, and long-term business success, while acting as a trusted senior advisor to organizational leadership.
At Long Capture, Walter serves as a Capture Strategist, partnering closely with clients to understand their company, technology, and growth objectives. He develops tailored, end-to-end strategies that position organizations to win in the federal market, guiding them through the complexities of business development and capture. Walter’s deep experience across the full lifecycle—from opportunity identification through award—enables him to help clients navigate and execute with confidence, making him a valuable contributor to both client outcomes and Long Capture’s broader impact.
